25 March 2016 - Tri Nations Bike & Hike Extreme! (Only 3 days to climb and cycle the route)

 

The Tri Nations Bike & Hike is to not only an attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales but cycle from one to the other in just 5 days.

The peaks are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. 

You travel to Fort William on the Friday, starting with Ben Nevis on the Saturday morning and then begin the cycle to Scafell Pike. Once at Scafell we start again early in the morning and climb Scafell Pike and then begin the cycle to Snowdon. Finishing the climb up Snowdon in the afternoon to descend and spend the night celebrating your achievement!

This is a tough event and people participating should have the necessary fitness and equipment! You have 5 days to climb and cycle between the mountains, although some events are over less days for the particlarly extreme competitior. The course is guided by qualified mountain leaders, clearly guided cycle sections and we will be with you all of the way!

Cycle 440 miles, Climb 3407 meters over 3 peaks in 5 days. 

It’s not just about getting up the hills and cycling hundreds of miles! There are other aspects to the trip which you may find challenging: more basic toilets or washing facilities than you are used to; being away from your family... we think we have thought of just about everything in the GET PREPARED pages to help you!
